It might only be spring, but Walt Disney World Resort is already preparing for spooky season. The first major details for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 have officially been announced — and there’s plenty for Disney fans to get excited about

 

📅 Event Dates

This year’s Halloween party kicks off August 7th, 2026, and runs through October 31st, 2026, offering guests nearly three months of frightfully fun evenings

Full list of confirmed dates:

  • August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
  • September: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
  • October: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31

With dates spread across select nights, guests have plenty of flexibility — but popular dates (especially October) tend to sell out fast

🎟️ Tickets & Entry Times

Tickets will be released in two phases:

  • May 5th, 2026 – For guests staying at Disney Resort hotels
  • May 12th, 2026 – General public sale

On party nights at Magic Kingdom, guests can enter as early as 4:00 PM, even though the event officially begins at 7:00 PM. The party runs until midnight, giving you hours to enjoy exclusive entertainment, attractions, and treats

👻 Returning Entertainment

Fan-favourite entertainment is back for 2026, including the hugely popular Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

This spellbinding show features iconic Disney villains such as:

  • Hades
  • Cruella de Vil
  • Jafar
  • Dr. Facilier
  • Evil Queen

Also returning:

  • Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade
  • Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

Adding even more atmosphere, the Cadaver Dans will once again roam the park with their eerie harmonies

Stitch will host an ever-changing dance party at Tomorrowland’s Rockettower Plaza Stage, joined by:

  • Lilo
  • Angel

😈 More Villain Encounters
Guests can expect surprise appearances from both new and returning Disney villains throughout the park — adding an extra layer of spooky unpredictability

🍬 Trick-or-Treating, Characters & Attractions

One of the highlights of the event is the trick-or-treat trail, with multiple locations across the park offering plenty of sweets

🎭 Rare Character Meet & Greets

You’ll find exclusive characters not typically available during regular park hours, including:

  • Jack Skellington & Sally
  • Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse in Halloween outfits
  • Winnie the Pooh in his bumblebee costume

Plus appearances from:

  • Ariel & Prince Eric
  • Aladdin & Jasmine

Shorter wait times make it easier to experience rides, and some attractions feature spooky overlays — including Space Mountain, which runs in complete darkness for the event
